Banditos is launching its own “Taco Temple” food truck and currently searching for a manager to oversee all food truck operations. Do you have the experience we are searching for?
SUMMARY
The Banditos Food Truck Manager has the overall responsibility for directing daily operations of the food truck, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations. Such areas include food and drink preparation and delivery; guest satisfaction; truck maintenance; and equipment repair; inventory management; team management; recruiting; hiring; training; developing team members; financial accountability; and ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each guest.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Controls day-to-day operations by scheduling, ordering and preparing food truck inventory

Controls profit & loss, by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions

Recruits, interviews, and hires team members, conducts performance reviews, takes disciplinary action, motivates, and trains

Ensures that OSHA, local health and safety codes, as well as the company safety and security policies, are being adhered to

Ensures that the food truck is in compliance with the preventative maintenance program in regard to the truck, equipment, and grounds maintenance

Ensures a safe working environment and customer experience by facilitating safe working behaviors of the team

Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensures products are consistent with company quality standards

Ensure food quality and 100% guest satisfaction

Pre-shift food prep
-
Post-shift cleaning and restocking of inventory
Required Skills/Abilities:
-
2+ years of supervisory experience in a food service environment is required
-
Proven track record of leadership and managerial skills while providing exceptional guest service is required
-
Ability to demonstrate cost control according to company standards
-
Proficient in Excel
-
Experience leading kitchen operations
-
Experience with inventory management systems
-
Ability to delegate responsibilities as needed

Experience operating a point of sale (POS) system

Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa Sponsorship

Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
-
Able to work under pressure during a busy time in fast-paced tight quarters while maintaining the highest food/product quality

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
